wells: month nine

What a month it has been for Wells! Of course, if you read my last post, you already know that he is hitting milestones left and right: crawling, teeth, pulling up on things, saying "mama" and "dada" and making all sorts of other sweet vocalizations. He's changing so fast and it's so fun to watch.

Wells is nine months as of this week. When I think of the nine-month mark, it always feels to me like the start of the approach to his first birthday. Eight months still seems closer to the middle of a year than the end but now, at nine months, he only has so much baby time left.

This was the first photo I took of him today.

That pretty much some up life these days - this kid is on the move!

And he's been practicing his planking and getting quite good at it.

Generally, he's a happy kid though he seems to be in constant teething mood and it's start to wear on all of us.

Thankfully, unless he's hungry or tired, he soldiers on with his day really well.

He seems to be growing at a rapid rate and we're thankful that he's been willing to try new foods to help fill him up. Waffles and blueberries is his new favorite breakfast combination.

Wells wants to be standing and walking so badly. He'll pull and push himself up onto anything. What a strong little guy!

In addition to trying to scale everything in sight, he gets great pleasure from blowing raspberries, repeating sounds back to us, watching his sister sing (he claps right along, it's. the. cutest.), and banging on things. He's a curious little guy these days.

In honor of Wells' nine month birthday, check out the photos below to see how much he's grown, month by month.

Until next month...
