a holiday recap

With my mind on all of the possibilities of a new year, I never took the time to reflect on our holiday season on the blog. We ran into a lot of snags the week of Christmas to the point that it was starting to feel comical but despite that we still had a lovely holiday season.

We enjoyed Wells' first Christmas and we think he did too.

We were lucky to have all of our siblings and their families in town and we were able to spend time with all of them.

We continued some family traditions and attempted to start some new ones of our own.

Our kids got to spend time with their cousins as we all enjoyed family time together.

Todd and I both took a good chunk of time off over Christmas and New Year's weeks, which was very welcome.

We were blessed this season with so many generosities in the form of gifts, meals, and people helping care for our kids, and are altogether grateful for all of the joys of the season.

It was a bit of blur in the end but full in every way. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmastime as well!
